Light Cycle; cultivation

A light cycle refers to the specific duration of light and darkness that cannabis plants are exposed to during their growth cycle. For indoor cultivation, growers manipulate the light cycle to control the vegetative and flowering stages of the plant. Typically, during the vegetative stage, the light cycle is set to 18-24 hours of light to promote leafy growth. In the flowering stage, the light cycle is reduced to 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness to trigger the plant's reproductive phase. By adjusting the light cycle, growers can optimize plant growth, development, and ultimately, cannabis yield.
