In weed culture, the term canoeing describes a joint that burns unevenly, with one side blazing faster than the other, forming a hollow, canoe-like shape. Often caused by loose rolling, wet herb, or rushed lighting, it wastes weed and disrupts the session. Fix it with tight rolls, even grinds, and slow, steady lighting or optionally wet the side that is burning too fast with some saliva (not the most hygienic method).
