Marijuana possession remains illegal in Indiana, with any amount considered a crime. Possession of less than 30 grams is treated as a misdemeanor offense, while possession of over 30 grams is classified as a Class D felony, punishable by jail time and fines. There are no legal allowances for medical or recreational marijuana use, and cultivation of marijuana is prohibited. Additionally, Indiana does not accept medical patients from other states, and travel with marijuana across state lines is strictly prohibited
