Recipe: Infused Iced Matcha Latte

Hot summer months mean icy cold beverages are on everyone’s mind and what better way to chill out than with an iced Matcha latte, infused for a little extra lift?

We went to our friends at Ardent, makers of the first home decarboxylation device, the NOVA and asked them to share their favourite recipe… and they did not disappoint!
Let’s get right to the recipe:
INGREDIENTS
- Ardent Nova
- .2 grams of cannabis at 15% THC*
- 1/2 cup of filtered water
- 1/4 cup full-fat coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon Matcha green tea powder
- 1/4 vanilla bean (optional)
- 1 cup crushed ice
RECIPE STEPS
- Decarb your whole plant material in the Ardent Nova
- Finely grind your decarbed cannabis and mix well with 1/4 cup of warmed coconut milk
- Heat 1/2 cup of water on medium/low heat – do not boil
- Add Matcha powder to a small bowl then whisk in 1 tablespoon of hot water until the powder turns to paste
- Add remaining water
- Pour Matcha over the cup of crushed ice
- In another bowl, use a hand-held blender or frother to combine the infused coconut milk with vanilla bean
- Pour over iced Matcha and enjoy!
