Pennsylvania

Medical use:Legal
Recreational:No

Pennsylvania legalized medical marijuana in 2016 through Senate Bill 3. Residents aged 18 and older with one of 23 qualifying medical conditions can apply for a medical marijuana I.D. card from the state. While exact dosage limits are not specified in the law, patients are capped at a 30-day supply, which is determined by their recommending doctor. However, marijuana remains illegal for non-medical use in Pennsylvania, and you can still get into a lot of trouble for possessing weed without your medical card. We’re still not sure if Pennsylvania will go recreational anytime soon, but considering how many other states are going rec, Pennsylvania might be next.
