Connecticut’s marijuana laws underwent major changes with the passage of House Bill 5389 in 2021. Adults over the age of 21 are now permitted to possess or consume up to 1.5 ounces (42.5 grams) of weed and store up to 5 ounces in a locked container in a home or in the trunk or locked glove box of their vehicle. Additionally, the possession limit for usable marijuana is set at 2.5 ounces.
