1. Hog the Joint

Maybe you’re lighting the joint and trying to tell a story at the same time, maybe you forgot the cardinal rule: Puff, Puff, Pass… Whatever the reason don’t be a jerk and hog all the weed. For sure your friends want to hear your cool story, but they also want to hit that so pass it along.

2. Break the Glass

If you break someone\’s piece you must immediately apologize, help clean it up and offer to repay the owner with money, weed or a new piece of equal value. Accidents happen but being old enough to smoke weed means being old enough to take responsibility for your clumsiness. Do the right thing.

3. Never Share

If you brought some weed, throw it into the rotation. Circle sessions are about the communal aspect of smoking. It\’s a group event and everyone wants to try your weed so offer it up. Plus it’s just good karma to be a share-bear.

4. Bring Disease

Please, please, please for the love of Pete keep your cold and flu germs to yourself. If you have a cold, a cold sore or anything else that might be contagious through sharing a joint or a bong do the right thing and use your own or use one of those  silicone mouthpieces.

5. Respect Roller’s Rights

Whoever rolled it gets to light it. The same goes for the bowl, meaning whoever packs it, gets to light it. Or not, it’s up to you guys – who am I to tell you how to live?
