Picnic Perfect Infused Mango Salad Recipe
Prepare to meet the infused summer salad of your dreams! Our mango salad is picnic perfect, with flavours as bright and fresh as it’s colours. In addition to being utterly delicious, it has been shown that mangoes and cannabis make excellent companions. The combination is said to make the euphoric effects of THC last longer and can even intensify your high.
Combine dressing ingredients in a small bowl and whisk together. Pour the dressing over the mango salad and mix together. Chill for 24 hours to allow the flavours to fully combine. If you are using cilantro, wait until just before serving to add to salad.
Pro-tip: Use a cannabis oil high in the terpene Myrcene, a chemical found in mangoes and in cannabis making them a match made in heaven. Myrcene is also found naturally in hops, bay leaves, lemongrass and eucalyptus.
2 mangoes, peeled, pitted, and cut into cubes
1 cup cucumber, diced
1 red pepper, small
¼ cup red onion, diced
1 jalapeno, seeded and diced
¼ cup cilantro, loosely chopped (optional)
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
2 tablespoons lime juice, include zest
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons infused cannabis oil -
preferably olive oil or coconut oil
A pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
